This painting was an attempt to respond to my daughters love of manga. I wondered if a quintessential piece could be created to represent the oeuvre. The figure and the flying towel are fret-saw work in wood then painted. the canvas was a special technique based on acrylic and enamels. The overall effect succeeded as far as the original intention was concerned - the kids were happy !
